​Paris Writers Retreat


Join us for our 15th year. Story and manuscript development come alive at this acclaimed, professional workshop for authors of fiction and  nonfiction. We hold the Paris Writers Retreat  at our private loft in the heart of Paris. Develop your book, fine tune your manuscript, and perfect your writing in progress. Writers of all levels attend to generate new material, develop ideas, or shape their stories.

In addition to all the sessions described on the Schedule page, the conference includes continental breakfast and a "pitch-the-agent" session to present your story and explore its most powerful ingredients. For writers of fiction, nonfiction, memoir, plays and screenplays.

The Paris Writers Retreat is hosted by the Rohm Literary Agency and led by NY Times best-selling author and literary agent Wendy Goldman Rohm, who works with all the major book publishers as well as TV, film and podcast studios (see full list at www.TheRohmLiteraryAgency.com). Ms. Rohm's conferences have  been held since 2002 worldwide, originally inspired by the series of honorary Masters Teas she presented at Yale University. At the conference, participating writers are guided through the creation process, fine tuning and perfecting their work--from the seed of an idea to a high-quality draft.  (See Lonely Planet's 2019 review.)

The conference includes all sessions for five days (or three days, if you join the weekend workshop) and continental breakfast. There is an optional networking soiree and group dinner each evening. The event takes place at our private loft in the heart of Paris' 3rd arrondissement, one of the most beautiful areas of Paris known as Place des Vosges. The conference also offers optional outings and dinners with the attending authors. Wendy Goldman Rohm has taught and lectured for MediaBistro, Yale University, onboard the QEII, and numerous universities and organizations in the US, Europe and Asia. She has presented her writing workshops since 2002 across the U.S., Europe, Asia and India.

 WENDY GOLDMAN ROHM heads The Rohm Literary Agency and is a NY Times best-selling author whose books have been published in 14 languages around the world.
