Dr. BHASWATI BHATTACHARYA, living between Manhattan and Varanasi, is a licensed and board-certified practicing physician, holistic medicine specialist and internationally reputed lecturer. She is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and recently received her mid-career PhD in Ayurveda from Banaras Hindu University. She was appointed as a 2018-2021 Fulbright Specialist in Global Public Health, is recipient of the prestigious American Medical Association’s Leadership Award, and author of many papers in peer-reviewed medical journals. She was the first Indian to speak as Graduate Orator at Commencement Exercises at Harvard University. Her work was featured in the documentary, Healers: Journey into Ayurveda, on The Discovery Channel. Her book Everyday Ayurvedais a national bestseller in India, published by Penguin Random House.
